Summer Internship: My Experience at Brenthaven- Thu, 2012-08-23 I feel incredibly blessed to have had the opportunity to intern at Brenthaven. It has been an amazing experience and I can’t believe it is over already. The positive and team-oriented environment that exists here helped me to feel comfortable and at ease every day. When I look at how much I learned, the relationships that were formed and also the real-world experience I gained here at Brenthaven it is hard to believe that I was only here for three months. There is not enough room for me to write about how much I have benefited from this whole experience. I have been both impressed and pleased by the way this company is run, and also by the interactions of my co-workers. As I said before, the teamwork mindset evident each and every day helps to foster a positive atmosphere and successful results. As I look to my future, I can note the huge impact this internship will have on my professional career. I used to wonder how well I would actually perform in real situations and whether or not I was a “self-starter” (a term I had always heard but did not fully understand). Well, now thanks to Linda’s help and management style, I can say without a doubt that I am a self-starter and that I finally understand my potential to be very successful in this field. I would like to thank everyone at Brenthaven, especially the Seattle office, because each and every one of them has had a positive and lasting effect on my outlook and my future. SHARE THIS
