Does this case have a removeable sleeve like the older Brenthaven cases designed for macbook pros?
The ProLite II does not have a removable sleeve. However the shoulder case itself does feature a custom fit pocket for your MacBook or MacBook Pro. The separate laptop compartment has 4 sides of foam to help safeguard your laptop from damage.

Awesome!!!
This is by far the best laptop case I have ever owned. My first case was a Swiss Army and it held up pretty good but started to wear after a year and a half. I then decided to buy the Marware Sporfolio but it ONLY fit my MacBook Pro (without the Incase sleeve) so I read the reviews for this case and decided to buy it. I have loved it ever since. It has a compartment for just about everything that came with my computer (it even has a special padded compartment for your iPod) and protects everything extremely well (most importantly my MBP WITH the Incase sleeve). Would recommend this case to anyone who wants to protect their prized investment.
Comfort Meets Function
I had a really expensive leather bag that was a real drag to carry. It also had way to many pockets that really took up more space than needed. After reading the reviews online, I decided to give this bag a try. WOW! Once I put my macbook pro, charger, leather binder, folder etc. I could not believe the difference. The only thing I could compare it to is like buying a brand new pair of really comfortable shoes. And the best part of all is being able to carry everything I need to get things done on the go.
One of the Best Cases on the Market
It isn't colourful or particularly stylish, but for the price this is hands down one of the best cases currently on the market for the MB Pro 15". It's exceptionally durable - I've traveled all over the world with it and it still looks like new. It has a huge amount of storage space, swallowing my iPhone, noise cx headphones, e-book, accessories, keys, change and more. The centre section for the MB Pro is well padded and offers great fit and excellent protect. There is a small zippered pouch between the handles that is a perfect fit for my passport wallet. Best of all, it is comfortable to hold with a nice shoulder strap and those all important rod-style handles for even distribution. I cannot over-emphasize the importance of this little design feature. When I'm particularly weighed down (easy to do with all that storage), the rod-style handle prevents my hand from getting painfully squeezed as it does with a loop-style handle. All these features add up to one of the best notebook cases money can buy - a lot less money than Tumi and some other premium brands. Outstanding value!
Everything A Case Should Be
I bought myself a macbook pro for my birthday, and it was the biggest present for myself i have ever bought. And i wanted to make sure that i kept it nice and this case makes sure of that. It has padding all inside of it for the laptop to not receive shock from bumps and what not. And it also has all the pockets and compartments that you would ever need for all of your accessories. This case is perfect for this laptop. I would highly recommend it.

This computer bag is great. It has more room than it looks like it has. Its strong and the zippers are sturdy. The shape of the shoulder strap makes carrying easy.
Looks Nice and Travels Well
I had a new Mac Book Pro and was taking it to Italy for a presentation of my ceramic work. I realized I needed a case for the trip. I made a quick decision to buy based on the reviews and the apparent quality. The Brenthaven 15.4 Pro Lite II Shoulder Case for Notebooks arrived the day before my flight and I was delighted.
I packed the notebook and all the peripherals I needed to compute in Italy and included my camera and two noise canceling headphones. It was carried onto the flight: fit nicely into the overhead on the plane. I made my presentation and returned to Los Angeles. I found the case very well organized and now I use it everyday to transport my computer. I am glad I bought the case. It is well made, looks nice and travels well. I had bought about a half dozen laptop bags over the years trying to find one that kept everything in it’s proper place and was laid out in some sort of intelligent order. The Brenthaven ProLite II is perfect, have already sold all the other bags and keeping just this one.
A Great Deal
I bought this case for my wife for her birthday, she is not easy impressed but she really loved it.It fit her Macbook Pro perfectly and she takes it everywhere. It is built very well and plenty of storage. A great deal.
Specific Positive
f you want a specific positive - the Prolite holds the computer, ac adaptor, external USB drive, and files/papers all without any bulges or without losing is sleek shape. Most other bags hold the computer and papers, but add the AC adaptor and you have a bulge that seems to bang and catch on everything it possibly can.
I can't recommend this case highly enough
It has great storage: many pockets with all kinds of sizes of sub-pockets, for storing everything from pens and memory sticks to mice, spare batteries external drives. I also carry a Wacom tablet (plus mouse and pen), Apple wireless keyboard, camera, iPod and many chargers, cables, etc. plus documents in the outer pocket and STILL have room. I can't recommend this case highly enough

This Case Really Blew me Away
I can't tell you how impressed I am with this case. I've been using it now for about 3 weeks. the pocket configuration really just makes sense. the strap and handles are comfortable to carry all my stuff. the protection system is solid but it's still a fairly lightweight case considering all the goes into it. i've owned Brenthaven before and have always been happy with their products, but this case really blew me away.
