Kona Project 2 Messenger Bag Does it All
This has been my go to bag since day one. As a returning student who is also a recently converted bike commuter I need a bag that will hold all my books, laptop and anything else I need for the day while keeping everything dry during my pacific northwest commutes. I especially appreciate the magnetic flap closures which is where my other messenger bags have traditionally let in moisture. The under arm strap works wonders keeping the bag in place even when riding gets a little rough, which is nice as a swinging bag in traffic can be quite a surprise. The built in bike light adds extra protection when you remember all of your other lights and is a good back up for when batteries get low on your primaries. This bag holds it all and still is comfortable, I took it grocery shopping the other day and my 5 mile ride home was pleasant regardless of the canned goods and other heavy foodstuffs that I purchased. Lastly I have to say it gave me instant biker cred when I went into the bike shop in the town where I have a summer internship. The folks there recognized it but hadn't seen it in person yet, I passed it around and let everyone play with it. It was nice to see people so excited, they loved it and it was nice to have something to break the ice with.
