Protective Measures

Where this bag really stands out is in the protective measures it includes. Inside the bag is a top-loading compartment for your laptop that is lined in soft nylon, with two faux-suede flaps at the top. This entire compartment can be removed via snaps, but I see no reason you'd need to do that. Within the compartment are spring-loaded side pads that hold your laptop snugly (I would imagine it would be equally adept at holding at 13.3 MacBook Pro, but it's super-snug with a 15.4 unit. All dimensions of your laptop are cushioned by a 1/2" thick pad (including under the zipper, where there are two fold out pieces that zip into place). Additionally, that same compartment has rigid walls beneath the pads that keep the shape of the bag as well as provide added protection against sharp blows.

It's a very slim and light weight design

I bought this bag for my MBP 15" two years ago and it has held up extremely well. As a matter of fact, it looks virtually the same as it did day one. The bag is rugged, protects my computer very well, and has a very comfortable strap. There is not a ton of storage, but that is also what attracted me to this bag - it's a very slim and light weight design.

I've been a Brenthaven fan for years so when I got my new MB Pro, I figured it was time for the upgrade. This is a lot cheaper than my last Brenthaven bag but they've managed to keep the quality and protection I loved in my last bag. It's also much thinner which is the one thing I didn't like about my old bag. Definitely 5 stars!
