Owned >12 Brenthaven bags over 20 years (fitted to computer of the year). Universally the bags are highly protective (and I have dropped bags from waist level or higher without any damage more times than I can remember. Latest bag differs from older ones only in two major regards: a) new TSA friendly design wonderful; b) same quality as earlier bags but lighter and LESS EXPENSIVE. Worth every penny.

This MacBook case has beared the ridiculous cold of Berlin, the scorching sun of Los Angeles, countless trips in cars and airplanes all without deteriorating one bit. It is highly functional, it doesn't call attention to itself but looks very professional when noticed, and is of quality construction. The price seems like a steal to me now. I just bought a case for the iPad from you as well. If it's expensive, it's technology, and I rely on it; it's probably going into a Brenthaven bag. This is a company that understands its customers needs and executes flawlessesly on the first design put out for consumption

Some may scoff at $119 being expensive for a laptop case. Then again, these same people may be satisfied with cheaper cases that come with limited guarantees, tears and broken zippers after a few short years of use. At least, this was my experience with laptop cases. This Brenthaven is by far the best laptop bag I have ever owned. You can tell that it's quality through and through from the ballistic material nylon shell to the heavy zippers to the thick leather handles. I was able to easily fit my 17" Macbook Pro inside the case. Even just as easy....I fit my 17" Macbook Pro in an inner sleeve (from SF BAGS) into the case and it fit very snug. So, there is wiggle room to spare if you want to leave your Macbook in an inner sleeve and then into the case. There is a wealth of pockets in the zippered front area that allows you to store pens, business cards, sunglasses, lip balm, etc. There is even a hook to hang keys on. The inner section contains pouches for your plug and extension cord. There is even a section to hold documents.
Best of all, the case is x-ray friendly, though there may be times the TSA is going to ask you to remove the laptop from the case (which is why I bought an x-ray friendly inner sleeve). Well worth the money. You will own this bag for many years to come.

Very pleased with this product. The MBP 17" in sleeve fits perfectly into the padded compartment with plenty of extra room for additional items. Delivered within 48 hours of order, a welcomed and pleasant surprise! Way to exceed my expectations!
