Best MacBook Bag I've Ever Owned
Put simply, this bag does all you want: it fits snugly around the MacBook Pro (bought in 2012 fall, 15" Retina Display), with just enough space for a couple of papers to slide in as well (good for 10-20 page reports or research papers). It won't fit a folder, but I personally like that about this bag, because it is meant and designed for the MBP and leaves no room for it to "swim around" or accidentally fall out. The inside is of a nice, soft material so as not to scratch the MPB. There's also a decently sized compartment in the front: this is perfect for MPB charger (it bulges out slightly, but not noticeably so) as well as an assortment of other small things (e.g. iPhone USB cable or pens). There's another small compartment, big enough to hold the iPhone or business cards. A word about design and quality: it's a beautiful bag in classic black. It can pass as a business bag (if you're a young professional or student), but it is also suitable for conditions outside the office. Take, for example, a recent 'tragedy' in which I spilled tons of water over my desk. The bag on the desk protected both my computer as well as my papers. I'm happy and would certainly recommend it to anyone!
EXCELLENT CHOICE FOR A FIRST MACBOOK CASE
I absolutely love this sleeve for MacBook. It is slim, sleek, and gets the job done without all the bulk of other bags. I especially love the faux fur interior. Never seen anything like it before. I think I made a really good choice going with a Brenthaven laptop case. I have since purchased a second Brenthaven product--a business rolling tote bag. Will certainly have many years of use from both!
