Let me introduce the pilot bag by Brenthaven. My love of flying started in 1985 when I took a small airplane ride with my uncle at age 17. Since then, I have traveled the nation, flying even bigger and faster aircraft. I was first hired by “The Majors” in 1999. Since 2002, I have been furloughed twice... once with Trans World Airlines / American Airlines and most recently America West Airlines / US Airways. Since my last furlough, I have been working with the team at Brenthaven to develop the perfect Pilot Bag for our new 'paperless' world. AWESOME BAG!!
I've been using this Pilot bag for nearly 2 years now and can say without hesitation this is the best piece of luggage I've ever owned. Tremendous Case

Great Bag!
"Ron, I got my bag today. My Telex Airman 850 fits perfectly into one of the inner pouches in the inner compartment where it is safely protected. The laptop sleeve with the protector was an added nicety. The rest is just as advertised with plenty of room for everything from manuals to Starbucks singles. I highly recommend this bag to all pilots, especially those using shipsets or EFB's."
Great Bag
I have been using this bag on my trips now for 3 months. It takes some getting used to at first because there are so many compartments and places to put things. But once you get used to the bag it is great. Especially going
through security with my laptop. No more pulling it in and out of my rollerbag. Just un-zip and lay the Proflight bag flat.I highly reccomend this bag to any flight crews. Especially if you fly for an airline that uses "shipsets".
Top Quality Construction
Got one of the first shipments and love it! Have not yet been asked to open up the computer side for screening. All features mentioned in the description are exactly as advertised and just as useful. I seem to find another compartment every week! Top quality construction. Will last a long time!
Bag that Pilots Can Actually Use!
Awesome flight bag! Well thought out. I use every facet of the bags cleverly designed features. Great for commuting pilots too. Fits perfectly under the seat. Carries everything (FFDO's take note) you'll ever need. Great job Ron! Thanks for putting in the time to design this bag that pilots can actually use!
TSA Security
If there is one reason to own this bag, it is the ease at which you go through TSA security without having to remove your laptop. Two quick "zips" and the bag lies flat and cruises through the x-ray machine. The laptop sleeve inside the bag is so well padded it will stand up to even the toughest van ride to the RON hotel.
Gotta Love This Bag...A Long Time Coming!
I got mine the other day just in time for a contract mission in HKG. I agreewith previous postings regarding sturdiness and easy on the eyes...It's functionality is pretty darn cool as well. When you 'drop it in the slot, getting items in and out is very easy...But, one of the best highlights of the bag is...Security! No more wrestling matches with your computer and tsa screeners...Nice Job...Bloom!
Ron Bloom's Designed Bag
We recently went to ship sets (Jepps) at US Airways, so I didn't need my old boxy brain bag anymore. I found out one of our pilots was working on a design especially for the needs of the "Jepp-less" pilot. Since we work side by
side, I trusted Ron would be best suited for understanding all the little things and the finer details needed for today's flight bag. I ordered one and I was immediately impressed by the professional look and durability of the product. When I transferred my stuff into the bag, it had a natural organization to it. The compartment for the computer with the padding and ability to not have to take it out at security is fantastic. Lightweight design with the shoulder harness makes it easy to carry. Other features like a place for my Blackberry, flashlight and pen holders, etc. are just icing
on the cake. I would recommend Ron's bag (Proflight Bag) to anyone.

Already Fallen In Love With It
I just got my new pro flight bag and just transferred all my stuff into it, and I've already fallen in love with it. I have used several bags in the past and though they worked, by hook or crook, there was always something awkward in placing of some of my stuff. Not with this bag, designed by one of us for use by us,... and it shows. I can't wait to go try it on the line.
Proflight Bag
I saw both size bags in SWA LAS lounge, I believe this bag is a great replacement for the traditional flight bag. It was thought out very well with great features and I have ordered one but the larger bag with the 5 1/2" compartment will be the best choose for me, since I am a commuter. I hope they make it too!
