Outstanding Value!
It isn't colourful or particularly stylish, but for the price this is hands down one of the best cases currently on the market for the MB Pro 15". It's exceptionally durable - I've traveled all over the world with it and it still looks like new. It has a huge amount of storage space, swallowing my iPhone, noise cx headphones, e-book, accessories, keys, change and more. The centre section for the MB Pro is well padded and offers great fit and excellent protect. There is a small zippered pouch between the handles that is a perfect fit for my passport wallet. Best of all, it is comfortable to hold with a nice shoulder strap and those all important rod-style handles for even distribution. I cannot over-emphasize the importance of this little design feature. When I'm particularly weighed down (easy to do with all that storage), the rod-style handle prevents my hand from getting painfully squeezed as it does with a loop-style handle. All these features add up to one of the best notebook cases money can buy - a lot less money than Tumi and some other premium brands. Outstanding value!
I have loved it ever since
This is by far the best laptop case I have ever owned. My first case was a Swiss Army and it held up pretty good but started to wear after a year and a half. I then decided to buy the Marware Sporfolio but it ONLY fit my MacBook Pro (without the Incase sleeve) so I read the reviews for this case and decided to buy it. I have loved it ever since. It has a compartment for just about everything that came with my computer (it even has a special padded compartment for your iPod) and protects everything extremely well (most importantly my MBP WITH the Incase sleeve). Would recommend this case to anyone who wants to protect their prized investment.
Awesome in Every Aspect
Awesome in every aspect. The materials are superb. It holds everything i need it to for school. Its like the pop-mobile for my Macbok pro. One of the best parts is the strap. The strap is comfortable and uses a great material so the strap will not slip off your shoulder (this has always been a problem for me with other bags). Very nice protection for my computer and the material of the bag will last for a long time.
I should have bought this bag first
When I had a 12" Powerbook I had a Brenthaven bag that I loved. It went all over the world with me (several times). When I got the 15" MacBook Pro, I bought other bags for it, but never was completely happy. I finally came to my senses and bought this bag. Perfect! I should have bought this bag first.
WOW
WOW! Once i put my macbook pro, charger, leather binder, folder etc. I could not believe the difference. The only thing I could compare it to is like buying a brand new pair of really comfortable shoes. And the best part of all is being able to carry everything I need to get things done on the go.
I'm Very Happy With It
Having used the Brenthaven Slim 14 with my MacBook, I naturally bought this one for my MacBook Pro. I only wish this one could be as light as the slim 14, other than that this is the only choice for me. Macs are not cheap, and to protect them there's nothing better than a Brenthaven. No other computer case that I've owned offers the protection that I get with this one. I'm very happy with it, you might be too.
Well Worth the Money Spent
This bag has everything I need and has proven itself well worth the money spent. The computer compartment is the perfect size for the 15-inch MacBook Pro (with the Spec see-through case AND Incase neoprene sleeve...because I'm paranoid and don't want anything to happen to my baby). Has inch thick padding on the sides and bottom, and the computer is sandwiched in the middle of the bag, so it is WELL protected. Front compartment can fit a thinner notebook & papers, has a small padded pocket for the mouse (fits the wireless Mighty Mouse perfectly) and multiple small organizer pockets for pens, ipod, phone, etc. The compartment designated for the power cord holds both the MagSafe power adapter and AC extension. Back compartment has dividers for files, but is large enough to fit about 3 inches of books/papers, and also has 3 small mesh compartments (wallet sized). Shoulder strap is comfortably padded and has a rubber coating on one side to prevent slippage. Compartments are zippered closed, so no quick access (such as velcro flap for keys), but otherwise no complaints. Can't say how it might work for other laptops, but it's perfect for the 15-inch MacBook Pro.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT
I recently bought myself a huge present, and because it cost an arm and a kidney, I had to make sure I got only the best protection available. After extensive research and reading reviews and testimonials, it became clear that only one brand provided ultimate protection: Brenthaven. I purchased the ProLite II, paid absolutely NADA for shipping (!) and received it about 2 days later. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. It has soo many compartments for everything I need and the protection level for my laptop is amazing. I was so worried that the shoulder strap would pull on my shoulder the way my last Targus bag did, but the ProLite made me feel light as a feather!! It really is amazing the brainstorming and quality that goes into their creations. More importantly, a week before finals, I tripped and fell over my own shoelace. My ProLite saved my face since it was the first to land on the cement. I worryingly got up and opened my bag fearful that my laptop was shattered by my abrupt fall, but to my surprise – NOTHING was damaged!!!!! The ProLite saved my face and my laptop. What a day, what a case! Thank you Brenthaven!!!! This is definitely everyone's Christmas gift this year =)
